Black Glass Beaded Cross Necklace - 2 Strand

This necklace was inspired by the beaded, multi-strand necklace you see starting in the 1790s that remain extremely popular though the Regency and 1830s.  This style lasts for decades!

It is made with small 6mm black glass beads and the longest strand is about 20" long with a 2" cross. 

You see these necklaces paired with brightly colored dresses, so it is not solely a mourning style, though of course it works well for that also!
