18th Century Style Hoop and Pearl Earrings
This listing is for a stunning pair of earrings made from glass faux pearl drops dangling from large gold-plated hoops. These earrings are based off the 1784 portrait of the Princess of Bethune by Labille-Guiard (see last image), however variations on this style show up in dozens of portraits from the 18th and 19th Centuries!
The earrings are quite large- a little over 2 inches in length- but are surprising light. They have a lot of beautiful movement and are just so lovely in person. I'm just thrilled with them!
Findings used are nickel-free and gold-plate, so no worries about allergies! These are also available with Silver-plated hoops and findings.
