Green Crystal Halo Necklace - Emerald Riviere
I am so excited to offer this new style of necklace! I've always been in love with the beautiful Diamond-encrusted collet necklaces and parures of the 19th Century and Georgian Eras! They are so luxurious, so glamorous, and so stunning. Unfortunately they are also scarce and incredibly valuable, so far out of the reaches of mere mortals like us (Oh, to have the acquisition budget of the Metropolitan Museum of Art!). I'm so pleased to be able to offer a good alternative!
I had these settings custom-made to ensure they were to my exact specifications. They have offset loops to ensure that the stones don't flip around and show the backs (what good is a necklace where you don't see the gorgeous color?). They are made of sturdy cast brass that have been richly gold-plated. (And can be custom-ordered in other finishes). I've alternated the crystal-ringed stones with plain ones, as is seen in historical examples.
The stones used are high-quality glass crystals in a rich, classic Emerald Green. It looks like an heirloom. The deep green is such a beautiful contrast against the gold and clear crystals!
This necklace is 16" long with a 3" extender chain, however I am happy to customize it to a set length if you prefer. Just let me know!
You may also order it with matching earrings for a lovely demi-parure and a really special look! The earrings are in the same style as the larger crystal-ringed ovals.
This necklace will be an amazing addition to your 18th or 19th century ballgown, or for your own unique special occasion.
