Tudor-inspired Pearl Dangle Earrings

  • 1800

This listing is for a pair of earrings in the style of the Elizabethan and Renaissance Eras. This is a departure from my usual jewelry which is inspired by the Georgian Era, but when I saw these huge pearl clusters and drops, it reminded me so much of the portraits of Queen Elizabeth I with her dripping pearls that I just couldn't resist.

These earrings are BIG. The pearls themselves are about 2 1/2 inches (or 6.8 cm) with the total length being about 3 inches (about 7.5 cm). The pearls themselves are acrylic (but surprisingly high quality), so the earrings don't weigh a lot, but do be mindful if you have sensitive ears (like mine!) that cant' handle a lot of weight. You will notice you are wearing these earrings, and so will everyone else!

The findings used are gold-plated and nickel free. I used lever back earrings so you can be sure these won't work their way out of your ears.
