Renaissance Chain and Shell Pearl Pendant Necklace

This necklace was inspired by the 1575-1585 Portrait of the Wife of Philipp Gundelius by Hieronymus Leopoldsdoft.  Her long, heavy chain holds a large double pearl teardrop pendant. 

My version features at 30" long gold plated chain with two shell pearls decorated with gold plated filigree.  The pendant measures about 2" long.
