Lapis Glass Beaded Necklace

Lapis Lazuli is a beautiful stone that has been used for centuries in jewelry, however modern Lapis is either very expensive or has been dyed to enhance that beautiful blue tone.  Unfortunately that dye can bleed off on skin or clothes, so I've never been able to offer beaded necklaces before.  

I was delighted to find these Czech glass beads which are a beautiful approximation of Lapis, without the risk of dye rubbing off!  They are a gorgeous, bold color!

These glass beads are 8mm each.  

This necklace is available in two styles:

A shorter 13" version that is finished with two rings on the end.  This style closes with a ribbon (not included) so it can be worn short and perfectly adjusted to your length. 

A longer 15.5" version with a 3" extender chain that closes with a lobster clasp (this is the version that is shown).  A more standard style for modern or later historical use.
