Lapis Lazuli Emipre Dangle Earrings

  • 2200

These earrings are inspired by the jewelry worn by Caroline Bonaparte Murat (sister of Napoleon) in the early 19th Century portrait shown in full in the last image.

I've used genuine Lapis Lazuli beads for these earrings, with a rich navy blue color and shimmering Pyrite gold inclusions. They are finished with my hoop-closures, just like the ones in the portrait.

The length, including the hoop, is about 1 2/3 inches or 4.5cm long. They have lots of movement thanks to the dangles, and dance around as you turn and move your head.

These are such versatile earrings- perfect for reenactments or everyday wear. It's a great way to inject a little historical beauty into your everyday wardrobe. And it's always fun to tell people that your jewelry is inspired by a Bonaparte!

Available in Gold, Silver, or Antique Gold finish.
